‘Twas the week before Christmas and through SVM’s office
The staff donned Christmas jumpers and prepared to get raucous.
As they enjoyed Christmas lunch, without making a scene,
They remembered all they’d accomplished in 2015.
The clients were happy and the projects were challenging;
Everyone was busy with the works they were managing.
There were plenty of accolades, SVM couldn’t fail;
With award winning Haymarket and slick Borders Rail.
Even at the year end, in the depth of December;
There are still plenty new projects that we have to remember.
The railway has asked at this last, final hour;
For lighting of bridges and major station power.
There are 2 new hotels – quite a lot on our plates;
Especially with works at 2 new ticket gates.
But as always old favourites are still here to stay,
EGIP, Motherwell and PARR are well underway.
Signalling centres and rail depot surveys,
Are taken in hand alongside Glasgow Subways.
Our hotel works are ongoing, brooking no quarrel
And some schools still require a CAD 3D model.
All of these projects are just doing grand,
But of course, don’t forget the oil plant at Heartlands.
2015 saw some changes in people,
We welcomed Ben, Drew and Jonathan and said goodbye to Michal.
There are still senior vacancies for you to join our success,
Just drop us an email (you know the address!)
So finally we acknowledge who we rely on the most,
Our clients and collaborators, without whom we’d be lost.
So to each one of you who made this year just right,
Merry Christmas to all and to all a Goodnight.
