In the office it is business as usual, with new projects continuing to flow in from new and well-known clients alike. At Glasgow Central Station we have been asked to undertake design for Caledonia Chambers, a site with which we have a long history; and we have also begun pricing for multiple small projects both here and at Edinburgh Waverley for various station services. Also at the fee proposal stage are Depot works including white diesel upgrades at three sites, air compressors, ventilation and water services design.
As well as this we continue to service many ongoing projects, the most prominent of which being Bangor to Colwyn Bay design; Goole Swing Bridge (now entering GRIP 6 to 8 stages); separate designs for the Rugeley to Colwich and Welwyn to Hitchin Railway routes; Anderston and Glasgow Central Low Level stations; and large scale works for the Ferrybridge to Goole route. Across the country we have works in full swing with the North of Scotland still home to works on the Blair Atholl to Dalwhinnie route; the Dalcross GRIP 4 project; construction phase works at Aberdeen Station; and various projects in Inverness including work stations and axle counters, stations remedial works and a railway simulator. Moving into the Central belt, the major stations remain busy places with works including design advice for power supplies; work on the ScotRail simulators; retail supplies; retail units design; and ventilation design for Superloos. We continue to be involved with LLPA design for multiple Railway sites in the Glasgow area; genset works at Atrium court, CET design and boiler replacements at Craigentinny Depot; and design for executive suites in some nearby Glasgow Railway offices.
