The summer months are finally upon us, despite the fact that they are remaining heavily disguised as winter!  Something that can’t be disguised, however, is SVM’s place in the local engineering landscape as another of our projects receives industry recognition.  Partick Interchange has just been shortlisted for a Scottish Design Award and we will be crossing our fingers for a win in August when the awards ceremony takes place.  This was a high profile project that had a real impact on the look of one of Glasgow’s busiest stations and we are proud to have collaborated with such an excellent team.  We hope that we can achieve similar success together in the future.

It’s a very special month at SVM Glasgow as we celebrate the 10th Anniversary of our independence!  This month marks ten years since we became an independent presence in Glasgow’s thriving engineering community and took up residence in our office at 84 Miller Street.

Heading into Spring it’s nice to see the sun again and welcome the longer nights.  However, we’ve plenty to do with all the extra time as everyone continues to be busy bees in the SVM Office.

2019 continues to be fast paced and busy with plenty projects arising from both the Railway and Commercial sectors.  It’s already looking pretty clear that 2019 is going to be another bumper year at SVM

Happy New Year and welcome back to all our clients, collaborators and colleagues who have managed to survive the festive season.  While the holidays are now a fading memory, everyone at SVM is recharged and eager to tackle whatever 2019 has in store and it is already looking busy!
